114.6 kW Industrial Solar Power Plant in Khotiv
A 114.6 kW solar power plant was built for a store in Khotiv. It provides a practical benchmark for commercial facilities of a similar scale: approximately 126,700 kWh of in-house electricity generation per year.
Annual Generation for the Store
The solar power plant consists of 252 modules rated at 455 W each. Most of their generation occurs during daylight hours and can be used directly to meet the current needs of the commercial facility.
The figure of 126,700 kWh helps demonstrate the project’s annual generation potential. This amount of electricity partially replaces energy purchased from the grid and contributes to the financial benefits of the solar power plant.
Long-Term Benefits of In-House Solar Generation
After commissioning, the solar power plant operates every day without requiring changes to the store’s operating schedule. Solar electricity is used first to supply the facility’s loads, while the external grid provides additional electricity when required.
The higher the cost of grid electricity, the more valuable each kilowatt-hour of in-house generation becomes. Therefore, a solar power plant helps businesses not only reduce current costs but also mitigate future electricity price risks.
Solis-Based System
Three Solis-30K-5G inverters provide a total inverter capacity of 90 kW. They operate together with the solar array as an integrated system and supply the generated electricity to the store’s loads.
The completed project in Khotiv adds to the list of commercial facilities where solar generation has become an integral part of the energy supply system.
