Industrial Solar Power Plant with a Capacity of 605.5 kW in Rivne Region

Annual electricity generation: 625,000 kWh

Inverter capacity: 500 kW

Peak capacity of solar modules: 605.5 kW

Solar module power: 580 W

Number of modules: 1,044 pcs.

Solar inverter: HUAWEI SUN2000-100KTL-M1

Number of inverters: 5 pcs.

More Than One Thousand Modules for In-House Generation

The solar power plant consists of 1,044 solar modules with a power output of 580 W each. Annual electricity generation can reach approximately 625,000 kWh — a significant amount of energy that the enterprise uses for its current needs.

A large solar array delivers the greatest benefit during working hours. This is when electricity generation coincides with the facility’s load, replacing part of the electricity that would otherwise be purchased from the grid.

Why Scale Matters

For an energy-intensive enterprise, even partially covering its consumption with in-house generation can have a noticeable impact. The solar power plant helps reduce operating costs and makes future electricity expenses more predictable.

At the same time, the solar power plant becomes part of the enterprise’s infrastructure rather than a standalone experimental solution. It is designed for regular operation over many years.

Equipment and Completed Works

Electricity conversion is provided by five HUAWEI SUN2000-100KTL-M1 inverters with a combined capacity of 500 kW. This configuration corresponds to the large solar array and enables the operation of the system to be monitored and controlled.

“Ekotechnik Ukraine” implemented the project comprehensively — from selecting the solution and supplying the equipment to installation and commissioning of the solar power plant.

In-House Generation for a Large Enterprise

A preliminary assessment of an industrial solar power plant requires comparing the facility’s consumption profile, site capabilities, and desired level of savings. Based on this information, a solution tailored to the actual conditions of the enterprise can be developed.
